WordFinder No. 10

Eight words hidden in the grid, found from their hints. The clock starts when you press start — not before.

How to play
  1. Eight words are hidden in the grid — across, down and diagonally, forwards or backwards. The words themselves are never listed — only a hint for each, with a row of empty slots showing its length.
  2. Drag from one end of a word to the other, tap one end then the other, or move a keyboard cursor with the arrow keys and press Enter twice — either end first.
  3. A find fills its own hint automatically — you never choose which hint a word belongs to. Anything else is free: no penalty, nothing marked.
  4. Every five minutes on the clock earns a joker. Spend one on a hint to see its word — you still have to find it in the grid. Unused jokers add up.
  5. Find all eight to finish. Stuck? Give up reveals every word that is left.

Drag from one end of a word to the other, tap one end and then the other, or focus the grid and use the arrow keys with Enter (or Space) to set each end. Either end first — a backwards word counts the same as a forwards one. A find fills its own hint; the placement decides which one, never you. Anything else is free: a partial word, a line through the middle of one, a word already found — nothing is marked and nothing is lost.
